Cellar Door
We welcome visitors to the cellar door at Nutbourne all year round, to wander through the vines along our vineyard trail and take in views of the South Downs from the windmill balcony.
The vineyard is currently open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. In Winter you can share a bottle or buy wine to take home.
In Summer, our range of still and sparkling is available by the glass or in 'flights' of tasting glasses with notes to accompany the wines.
Our cookbooks, accessories, gift vouchers, farm produce and beef are also available to purchase.
Vineyard Trail
Pick up an illustrated map from the veranda shop and follow our self-guided trail around the vines to discover how we grow grapes and make our wines. Along the way, look out for the vine quiz on information signs, bio-diverse wildflowers and cover crops promoting insect and bird life, an ancient oak sculpture and our alpacas.
In Winter we suggest you bring suitable footwear as it is muddy in the vines.
Picnics & Platters
Delicious homemade picnics and platters for two to share, made with seasonal Sussex produce from our family farm to complement our wines.
After a tour or a wander through the vines, collect from our cellar door then sip and graze on our platform with breathtaking views of the South Downs. There is plenty of covered and outdoor seating (although you are welcome to bring a picnic blanket to sit among the vines).
Add a bottle when you prebook, or choose from our range of still and sparkling when you visit.
