We welcome visitors to Nutbourne all year round - it is a wonderful place to explore in the heart of West Sussex, with wildflower meadows, alpacas, lakes, sweeping views of the South Downs and plenty of places to relax and enjoy a glass of Nutbourne wine.
Cellar Door
Visitors are welcome to drop by to explore the vineyard walking trail. Our wines are available by the glass so you can discover our range. Pre-book a platter or picnic to enjoy in the windmill tower or on a bench overlooking the South Downs. Wines are also available by the bottle or case to take away.
Tours & Tastings
Every Saturday from May to September, we offer guided tours around the vineyard and winery, including a detailed tutored tasting. We also provide private tours for wine groups, parties and corporate outings, with delicious seated lunches in the Wine Lodge.
Friday Evenings
Sundowners and Burgers & Bubbly
On Friday evenings throughout the Summer, we open the Nutty Bar to host “Sundowners” with gentle music and a chance to soak in the atmosphere of the vines. On the first Friday of every month, as well as on Bank Holiday Mondays, we extend this to offer “Burgers & Bubbly” - our own delicious beef cooked in the wood-fired oven alongside our Nutty Wild sparkling wine.
Small Weddings & Special Occasions
The Gladwins can create very special private daytime events for select occasions in a selection of beautiful rustic setting. We provide wonderful seasonal catering together with delicious wines from the estate and charming hospitality. These events can be combined with a privatevineyard tour or we can offer complete exclusivity for a small private wedding.
