Nutbourne Vineyards in West Sussex is a part of the Gladwin Family's integrated business, alongside our London restaurants and broader farming activities. They all share the concept “Local & Wild”, a way of life and commitment to provenance, people and the countryside.
Nutbourne is a single estate wine producer making a range of award winning still and sparkling wines. Every part of our growing and winemaking takes place here on the farm. Our wines are available from the Cellar Door, online, in our Local & Wild restaurants and from selected wine merchants throughout the country.
Hidden down an ancient holloway lane, Nutbourne is a wonderful place for a day out, with wildflower meadows, alpacas, lakes, historic windmill and sweeping views of the South Downs. We are open to visitors with a vineyard trail throughout the year. In the Summer we offer wine tastings, food platters, picnics, tours and special events.
In the Summer we host guided tours of the vineyard and winery every Saturday morning. These light hearted events give an insight into how wine is made in England and include a comprehensive tasting. Visitors can also just pop in for a glass with delicious homemade picnics or platters to enjoy in one of many delightful locations around the estate.
Each year we host a range of events to celebrate the produce from our working farm. “Burger & Bubbly” evenings take place on the first Friday of each month and on Bank Holidays. Our Local & Wild restaurants will “pop-up" in the vines for a lavish multi-course food and wine extravaganza. We also host exclusive smaller scale private or corporate lunches, tours and celebrations.

ReadOpening Times
The vineyard Cellar Door is currently open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
From Easter weekend onwards, we will be open thrroughout the Summer from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, plus every Friday evening for "Sundowners" until 8pm.
